I have twins (boy girl) and a few weeks ago, before they turned 3, I bought 2 thumsies for my girl. I let her choose them online, she opened the packages when it arrived, and she will not go to bed without it. She loves it, which means we love it.She still sucks her thumb if for some reason she goes to bed without it. However she’s stopped sucking when she’s just chilling watching cartoons for example.She also does not need to suck to fall asleep anymore. She just does it in the middle of the night. (We can hear it - it’s as loud as Maggie Simpson)Anyway - the review. It’s a brilliant product, simple, cute, effective. I bought two, so we can wash one whilst she uses the other. The stars chart is useful too and she loves the idea of adding a new star every morning.Definitely recommend this approach and product. We’re all pleased about this and have passed on details to a couple friends who have kids same age, still sucking.Just buy this. You won’t regret it.

Wonderful product! Fantastic Customer service. We were so excited to discover the thumbsie when searching on line for ideas on how to help my daughter stop sucking her thumb. She loved choosing the designs and was excited to wear it. We also purchased a chart with stickers and that gave her extra encouragement. Highly recomended.

Great idea and very good choice of fabrics that got my 7 year old son excited about the whole prospect of giving up something the loves! Good fast friendly service. It is still early days on whether it will work for eddy but so far so good and it's been a much entter experience than using the 'stop nail chewing' ointment that he hated. Thank you!

A friend recommended a Thumbsie to me, after I expressed concerns about my daughter’s thumb sucking and direction of teeth growth.I was sceptical as was sure she’d either rip it off or suck the material. I was pleasantly surprised that she did neither! She is only two and a half!She likes to chose the design she wears, along with her outfits! This morning we were at a music class and she mistook the word ‘drum’ for ‘thumb’ and proceeded to go round the circle showing everyone her Thumbsie!They are really working! I purchased some off-the-shelf and bespoke thumb guards. Jo was really patient and helpful in making sure the sizing was right for my daughter. She is still very little but her thumb got in a horrible way after sucking it so much so I used these to stop her from sucking it during her awake playing time. Her thumb healed completely. So much better than plasters etc which irritated her thumb further. Fun choice of fabrics. The book is a great idea too.

My 4 year old is EXTREMELY stubborn and was hesitant to even put the thumbsie on but once she did she looooved it! We are still in the early stages but now she asks to put it on and loves to show it off. I just ordered a second one at her request! I’m so hopeful this will work for us!

I'm a 27 year old woman who hasn't kicked the habit of sucking her thumb....embarrassing I know. During the first lockdown in March 2020, I decided to do something about it and I came across Thumbsie. I'm fully aware that these are designed for children but I ordered one anyway to try and it fit! So for the last year and a bit, I've worn it on a night time and it has really helped me. Today I have bought two more. I'm glad I researched and found them. Fingers crossed, I won't need to wear it forever but if I do they are perfect for what I need! Thank you 🙂

I bought several thumbsies for our 3 year old daughter. At first she found it weird, then interesting , then fun. It was a game changer . She sucks both her index and middle fingers and we were concerned about her teeth. First we started to use it at the nursery and at night then only during the day. She still does it especially when she is tired however it really helped to break the habit . I recommend you try it.

My 3 year old has been a thumb sucker from birth, I found thumbsies on Google and after seeing such good reviews ordered 2 of them one for each thumb. These have been absolutely great to discourage her thumb sucking habit and it's great you can have sizes from young age to older children, only downfall was that they are velcro fastenings so my girl pulled them off at night so I managed to attach buttons and now she's no longer able to take them off, without these I wouldn't of known what else I could do to kick the thumb sucking habit!!

We purchased the Thumbsie as a last resort. I have tried everything over the years to help zap the habit but just couldn't seem to find anything that my daughter was on board with. She is 6 years old and i was ready to give up until we came across Thumbsie's. She picked her colours and put them on herself at bed time. We created a little routine that incorporated the thumbsie. Two months on and we finally have a little girl who won't go straight for her thumb. Most nights she falls asleep without the thumbsie, and doesn't suck her thumb and she doesn't suck at all during the day anymore. I highly recommend giving them a go!! Definitely worked in favour for us.

We’ve had our thumbsies for a while now, and whilst my son doesn’t always love wearing it when he wants to get to his thumb 😆 he does like it at other times. It’s a good fit with space to grow, really nice design and well made. It’s great for during the day and in the car when he’s absently sucking out of habit rather than really ‘needing’ to.

Wonderful product! My thumb sucking 3yo was happy to wear the thumb guards, but at the same time started sucking her index finger, so I bought the finger guards as well. She was excited to choose among the cute patterns and now proudly wears both guards one over the other. 🙂

These were the perfect side to help our 7year old finally break the habit. He was motivated to stop (finally) and these thumb guards gave him the perfect reminder to help him break the habit. They were comfortable and non intrusive, meaning he could go about his daily kids stuff without interruption, but served their exact purpose of reminding him when his habit brought his thumb to his mouth. Simply perfect. He is now finally free of guards and his habit. Worth every single penny. Thank you

Love these! My son is almost 8 and decided he wanted to try to stop sucking his thumb. His friend had used a Thumbsie and so he asked for one. They are brilliant and in just over a month he no longer sucks his thumb 🙂 Thank you!

Quick delivery and a really lovely product. My son enjoyed choosing from the range of patterns and the sticker chart was an added bonus. Worked really well, in fact we didn’t really get much use out of them as he stopped sucking his thumb quite quickly.

I purchased children's face masks in Nov 20, and again in March '21. Great fun patterns, good quality material which washes well, and toggles to adjust. My children find them very comfortable to wear. Customer service was second to none. Jo rang personally to advise that a mask design my daughter was not in stock, so she patiently went through the choices with my 7 year old and threw in an extra as she didn't have the first choice in stock!! I bought the medium size masks for myself too !! Great product and great service! 👍

Success ☺. My 7 yr old daughter was a thumb sucker from birth. I knew she needed to break the habit. I read about Thumbsie & decided to try it. My daughter picked the fabric which made it more personal for her. She used it every other night, (a compromise that worked for us) and after 6 weeks she no longer sucked her thumb.

I actually bought these for myself, not for thumb sucking, but for skin picking. I bought 2 of the extra large size after measuring up my hands and finding out that they would just fit. They are quite comfortable and I wear both when I am in a particularly 'picky' mood. A fantastic physical barrier to any bad habit!

We were at the end of all our options to help our 5 year old daughter stop sucking her thumb. When I saw the thumbsie product I thought yes, I will try that, I will try anything! We've been using it for about 3 months now and having great success at night and still working on encouraging her to wear it during the day which has been a bit challenging but I have no doubt through talking to her, rewarding and supporting her, we will be able to work together to help her quit. The product is great quality and withstands our daughter sometimes chewing at it when she is particularly missing the thumb. It's comfortable, and the fabric is appealing to kids. I recommend any parent with a thumb sucker try this product.

My daughter is 10 and still sucking her thumbs (yes both thumbs), so much so that her thumbs were gnarled with the skin damaged. We got two thumbsies, which she wore to bed every night, which is when she likes to suck her thumbs the most.They were effective immediately and two months on she has completely lost the urge to suck her thumbs and they are fully repaired. Thumbsie was recommend to us by a nursery teacher for my 3 year old who sucks her thumb all night. We tried numerous methods to break the thumb sucking habit and none worked...until Thumbsie!! It’s been a life saver. My little one is happy to wear it; it’s safe, well made and has stopped the thumb sucking, which slowly I’m sure will break the urge to want to thumb suck. Highly recommend! The Thumbsie thumb guards really work. We bought the unicorn multipack for my 7 year old daughter and she had given up thumb sucking within a couple of weeks. The thumb guards are really well made from good quality fabrics. I would highly recommend these to any parents trying to get their children to stop sucking their thumb.

I never thought my daughter would top sucking her thumb. However, after seeing photos of other similar aged children (she is 8) with their Thumbsie she agreed to give it a go! She has now been free of thumb sucking for 7 weeks and is so proud of herself.

My son LOVES sucking his thumb. He’s 3 1/2 and it felt like the habit was so ingrained that we’d never get him to stop. Thumbsies have been a bit of a revelation - I thought he’d just rip off the Velcro and that would be it, but they’re really well made and he loves the patterns so keeping them on hasn’t been an issue. And in just over a week, he’s not wearing a Thumbsie in the car or when he watches TV and there is no thumb sucking at all. We’ll keep it on for the next little while when he’s sleeping, just to see what happens, but it feels like we’ve gone a long way to breaking the habit in a very short time.

Great product!..Nice and good quality. Unfortunately, my five years old is a bit stubborn and she doesn't want to use it.It doesn't matter how many times I place the thumb guard on her hand, she keeps removing it and thrwon it away.But, I will definitely recommend it for younger children.

I tried everything for my 4 year old to stop sucking his thumb. His teeth were already buck and sticking out and o was terrified he was in for a childhood of being teased. I did a lot of research and came across Thumbsie’s. My sons choose his favorite design. After 2 months of wearing them at night the difference is massive. A dentist told me that to the age of 6 that teeth can self correct and that’s exactly what they have done. It is amazing how the teeth have moved all thanks to thumbsies. I would highly recommend these. They are worth it 100%.

My little girl sucked her thumb so much it would get sore and bitter nail varnish was not working. We’ve had the Thumbsie for about 4 weeks now and my little girl loved it from the beginning. She chose the pattern and so was very happy to wear it. It fitted perfectly and was a lovely soft material. So, four weeks on and she has completely stopped sucking her thumb!!! She stopped wearing it last weekend and so far so good! She’s so pleased with herself and her Thumbsie, which is now hanging next to her bed because she loves it so much and doesn’t want to get rid of it. Would definitely recommend this amazing brand!

Bought the unicorn Thumbsie pack after lots of research. My 3yo had sucked both her thumbs from birth and whilst not concerned initially she did eventually stick to one side and had callous like suck bumps raise up front and back of mouth placement on her thumb. I didn’t want to put her off food with alternative measures so thought I’d try Thumbsie’s! I was not convinced but a week in of all day/all night with the only exception when eating and going to the toilet - the Thumbsie had broke her habit! I was worried after half term going back to nursery (change in daily schedule) she might regress which did happen but she was happy to show off her Thumbsie to everyone at nursery and eager to wear again and was needed by night also (overtiredness triggered her too) so although she doesn’t wear everyday she always has it in sight should she want it on or need it on just in case. Totally worth trying and a huge success for our daughter! Many thanks.

The Thumbsie had an immediate impact on my child’s thumb sucking. Highly recommend Thumbsie - after almost 6 years of thumb sucking, my daughter stopped almost immediately! We had many previous attempts at trying to stop which caused us all stress and upset, but using Thumbsie's was so easy & fun! She chose the fabrics she wanted & loved seeing the stars add up on the chart. Amazing product, 10/10!
