We are so sorry to hear that some of our orders are taking longer than expected, we are sure that the Royal Mail is doing it’s best to get these to you as soon as they can within their own working restraints, so please bear with us. If you have received an email to say its on it’s way then we are unable to track it, so please be patient, thank you.
Free UK delivery on orders of three fabric guards or more and ALL OF OUR BUNDLES. For other orders postage and packaging is charged at £1.80 per parcel for first class UK postage. Please note we will not be able to provide a tracking number. Your order will be sent by Royal Mail 24hr service.

Postage and packaging are charged at £3.80 per order for the rest of the World outside of Europe, but not including USA. Please note that Custom charges may apply and that you will be responsible for paying the charges.
Please allow 1-7 working days for delivery from receipt of payment for your order to arrive. Please note deliveries outside the UK will take a little longer. If you need your Thumbsie(s)® in a hurry then please email us on email@example.com and we might be able to get them to you sooner (so sorry but this is unlikely whilst restrictions due to Corvid-19 are in place). For orders in the UK, you will receive notification by email when your order has been sent by Royal Mail 24hr service. Please do allow a reasonable amount of time for the order to get to you before getting in touch especially around busy times.
The price is for one single guard only. We really recommend that you have 3 Thumbsie® guards for each thumb or hand that your child sucks so that you can keep good hygiene.
Please ensure that you give the correct and full address of the property and recipient that you wish the order to be sent to. If you have made a mistake with the delivery address we can not be held responsible if the item does not reach you. You may be charged P&P again if you wish the order to be resent.
We deliver Worldwide except USA.
Please try on your thumb or finger guard as soon as you can to ensure you are happy with the sizing and comfort. The guard should fit comfortably around the wrist. If you need to exchange please see below. If you are happy with your purchase then please wash the items before use. The guards are made from polycotton, cotton or poplin cotton and the inside branded fabric is cotton fine warp satin. We take great care whilst making your thumb and finger guards but we do recommend pre-washing especially if your child has known allergies. Wash on a 30-degree delicate setting or hand wash; use a low temperature if tumble drying and a standard iron setting.
If you have made a mistake and ordered the wrong size, don’t worry just drop us an email on firstname.lastname@example.org and we will happily send the correct size when we receive the other back. PLEASE DO NOT WEAR THE FABRIC GUARD as we will not be able to exchange it. Please return your order in its original packaging. You will be responsible for the postage of the return and may well be charged for the correct order to be sent. Please note that Custom charges may apply if you are retuning them from outside the UK, and that you will be responsible for paying the charges.
If you order a bespoke guard then we cannot offer a refund or exchange as they will have been made especially for you. Please make sure you take time when measuring.
Please bear in mind that these thumb guards are a tool to aid children to stop thumb sucking. Success is not guaranteed. The parent/carer will need to encourage the child to stop thumb sucking. Reward charts and our book ‘Thumbs up for Ted’s Thumbsie’are designed to help with this.
To receive a refund you must contact us before returning the fabric guards within 48 hours of receiving your order. We will then provide you with a returns address. You will need to ensure the fabric guards have not been worn and are still in their original packaging.
We have a non-returnable policy if the Thumbsie® fabric guards have been worn.
We will, however, refund if the fabric guard is faulty.
Please note we are not liable for any packages lost in the post, and therefore suggest the item is sent back using a trackable/recorded delivery method. This is to avoid lost items and so that we can track your item. Please retain your proof of postage. Please note that Custom charges may apply if you are retuning them from outside the UK, and that you will be responsible for paying the charges.
A refund of the product price will be initiated once we have received the returned goods. The original delivery charge will not be refunded and the customer will be responsible for the delivery cost of returning the items unless there has been an error on our part or the item is faulty. If you order a bespoke guard then we cannot offer a refund or exchange as they will have been made especially for you. Please make sure you take time when measuring.
Please let us know if something is not right. We strive for 100% customer satisfaction and we would rather know if you are not happy. As these guards are made from fabric and are worn every day we do expect a certain amount of wear and tear. If they come undone at the seams or fray at the tip then we will replace them if it’s under 8 weeks since you made a purchase. We recommend them being replaced every 8-10 weeks.
If you believe that an order has been lost, please do get in touch as soon as you can, preferably within a week after you received confirmation of the order being sent, if your address is in the UK. If it is after 2 weeks of the order being sent in the UK we will not be able to offer a refund or send out a new order.
Please note that some children do take longer to break the habit than others and there are no guarantees of success using these fabric guards. Read our Thumbsie® reviews to see what other parents say about the success of Thumbsie® thumb and finger guards.
All Thumbsie® fabric guards are handmade and as such variations can occur although all our seamstresses work to a sizing template. All efforts are made to represent colours accurately, but please note that colours may not match exactly on your computer monitor. We recommend replacing you Thumbsie® fabric guards every 8 -10 weeks.
Thumbsie® finger and thumb guards are made from polycotton, cotton or poplin cotton and the inside branded fabric is cotton fine warp satin. The fabric is deliberately not washed before it is sewn into a guard. Thumbsie® finger and thumb guards are made in a smoke and pet free environment, we are also mindful of allergies and take care whilst making the guards however we strongly recommend washing all fabric guards before use, especially if the child has a known allergy.
We advise that a child under the age of 36 months is not left unsupervised wearing a Thumbsie® fabric guard. We do not recommend Thumbsie® fabric guards under the age of 3. Children are the responsibility of the parent or carer. If the guard strap is too loose and flapping then please get in touch as the Velcro® could scratch. If the fabric guard starts to fray after use it’s probably time to get a new one so that small pieces of fabric are not coming away. If in the unlikely situation the Velcro® stitching comes away, then it is recommended that they are not worn and replaced.

These are washable fabric face masks for children. They are not surgical masks and wearing a mask is no guarantee of protection and the government guidelines of social distancing and the washing of hands should still be adhered to. Wearing a mask in public settings and where other social distancing measure are difficult can help protect others.
Children should be careful not to touch their eyes, nose, and mouth when removing their face mask or covering and wash hands thoroughly, immediately after removing.
Thumbsie® recommend purchasing several face masks, so that they can be worn for a short period of time and then put straight into the wash. They are machine washable and we suggest washing them at 60 degrees. We suggest you wash them before use.
Warning: Choking hazard as there are small items (toggle), Thumbsie® face masks are not recommend for children under the age of 3 years old or anyone who has trouble breathing.
A face mask and other cloth face coverings should not be placed on young children under the age of 2, anyone who has trouble breathing, or is unconscious, incapacitated or otherwise unable to remove the mask without assistance.
The use of a mask alone is insufficient to provide an adequate level of protection, and other measures should also be adopted.
With our face masks there is a no exchange or refund policy.
