Fun thumb & finger guards to help stop thumb sucking

The Thumbsie® thumb guard is for children who want to stop thumb sucking but need some help during those difficult times. Suited to children aged 3 – 12 years, all of our products are comfortable to wear and can be worn during the day and night.

We’re sure that you’re aware of the problems with thumb sucking, but we have a solution! Over time, our fabric guards can help a child break the thumb sucking habit, without limiting the child’s ability to play or use their hands.

Each custom-made thumb sucking guard is worn like a glove over the thumb and secured around the wrist with Velcro.

There are five sizes to choose from and our simple measuring diagram makes it easy to choose the right size. The Velcro around the wrist means they are adjustable and will fit all wrist sizes. Find out how to measure for your child’s thumb guard.

There are lots of different materials to choose from for boys and girls, making the thumb guards fun to wear whilst aiding the parent’s and child’s fight to discourage thumb sucking. We love to reward success so we offer children a free personalised success certificate, once they have stopped their thumb sucking habit.

In 2017 Thumbsie® reached the finals in two categories for Best Online Business and Best Retail Business in the UK wide Best Women in Business Awards. We were also Highly Commended in our local Business Awards for having the Best Online Business in the area.

We have many dentists that recommend our thumb and finger guards all over the world. See what some British dentists are saying about thumb sucking and their views on why they recommend Thumbsie® to their patients.

We also make finger guards to help prevent finger sucking. You can purchase finger guards or fabric thumb guards by visiting our online shop – we offer a range of fun fabrics.

We deliver all over the world except USA and Canada. That being said, we accept all major credit cards and PayPal.

"Thumbsie is good and awesome and I loved it. I liked choosing the whale and panda for my thumbsie. I am proud of myself for not sucking my thumb and I like my certificate.

Now my toys wear the thumbsie as I don't need them anymore."

Jocelyn age 5 (her own words)

"The transformation has been wonderful to watch, she is much more engaged in family life and seems much happier and more up for trying new things.

We have a different child!"

Hannha (daughter Illiana aged 4)

"As a parent of 2 children, I have been looking for a thumb sucking solution for many years. A lot of the comforting a child associates with thumb sucking is to do with texture and the Thumbsie is a perfect solution to help any child break their habit. "
