The Corporate LiveWire Global Awards celebrate the “success and achievements” of businesses from across the globe. Best of all, they give awards based on “an innovative approach”, something that Thumbsie® prides itself on.

And clearly, the judges agreed!

For well over a decade, Thumbsie® have created thumb and finger guards to help children stop thumb sucking. But more than that, we have created a community for families to share their stories, help one another and – above all – help their children overcome a tricky habit.

We started on a very small-scale. In fact, our founder Jo Bates, first came up with the idea for a Thumbsie® when speaking to fellow mums at the school gate and trying the idea out on her own daughter. From there, we have grown while still holding on to our sense of community. And although we produce thumb gloves for children, we are fast approaching our own teenage years – we celebrated our 11th birthday this year!
