Happy Thumbsie Mondays on the BBC

Word is getting around about our Best Business Woman Awards, especially since Jo Bates was invited to BBC Three Counties Radio to speak to Nana Akua about her award on her Happy Monday’s radio show.

The radio show includes inspirational and motivational content to get the week off to a good start – and what better way to do that than to hear from an award winning inspirational business woman?  Jo spoke to Nana about her business and all that she is doing to help children to stop sucking.  This year that has included launching the Thumbsie® book ‘Thumbs Up for Ted’s Thumbsie’ and more plans for thumb sucking clinics, where Thumbsie® teams up with dentists to help children to stop sucking and damaging the health of their mouth and growth of their teeth.

During the interview Jo described her most recent award ‘Best Business Woman in Retail or Consumer Business’ as a great opportunity to reflect on her business journey and plan for the future.

Asked to choose a song at the end of her interview, Jo chose Pharrell Williams’ ‘Happy’ – the song that was played as she collected her award earlier this month.
