That’s right, we are proud to announce that we won Most Innovative Children’s Handmade Dental Health Product at the Southern Enterprise Awards. These awards receive over 68,000 total nominations, so to be on the winner’s list is a real achievement.
The awards are run by SME News and first took place in 2018. Ranging from start-ups to family-run firms to larger companies, the Southern Enterprise Awards recognises achievements of so-called small and medium enterprises (SMEs). And given that an estimated 99 per cent of businesses in Europe are SMEs, that represents a huge number of enterprises.
Of course, it’s worth saying that although we are based in Buckinghamshire, and are thrilled to win this award, we are very much a nationwide company, shipping to anywhere in the UK. In fact, we offer free first-class UK delivery on any order of two or more Thumbsies, or any bundle orders.

What are the Southern Enterprise Awards?
The Southern Enterprise Awards celebrate and recognise the achievements of small and medium businesses in southern England. Awards are given solely on merit and are awarded to commend those most deserving for their ingenuity and hard work, distinguishing them from their competitors and proving them worthy of recognition
How are winners chosen?
The awards are run by SME News, a business publisher who have been around for almost 12 years. The dedicated awards team review all supporting evidence provided by nominees and also undertake extremely thorough research of businesses. Several criteria are involved in the final decision, including longevity, sustained business growth, rapid business growth, innovations and testimonials.
